The International Institute for Critical Thinking was established in 1999 as a nonprofit organization. Its mission is to develop critical thinking skills in individuals and groups.
We are proud to present to you Dr. Gerhard M. Kroiss, who will be at your service for the treatment of Math Anxiety. Dr. Kroiss has earned his B.S. in Psychology and Mathematics at the University of Maryland, his Master Degree in Counseling at Boston University, and his Doctorate in Counseling and Mathematics at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro. His degrees were awarded with highest honors.
He has treated many students for math anxiety with great success both in the USA and in Europe.
Math anxiety will lower your score on the SAT and GRE and similar tests--and, therefore, result in a considerable financial loss for parents. We have seen students, who had A's in high-school mathematics, do poorly on the SAT and GRE because they suffered from math anxiety. This problem is not addressed by the usual preparation courses, which are conducted in a group setting. The treatment of math anxiety is only possible in individual sessions.
Because math anxiety is a psychological problem, its treatment may be covered by your insurance.
There is also the possibility for students, who live far away from Greensboro N.C., to schedule one or more days with Dr. Kroiss.
